CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

Excel Construction has been engaged in construction projects in the Karamoja region for over a decade and significant projects include construction of Moroto high school andMoroto Core Primary Teachers’ Collegeand otherprojects within the region include schoolsatKotido, Karenga, Kaabong, Nakapiripirit and Abim.

We are currently constructing Moroto regional referral hospital, a significant project that will ensure health care services are brought to the area.

Whilst undertaking this project, the Company has reached out to the local community by recently making a significant donation in foodstuff for the desperate and the needy to the community around Nawanatau village, Nadunget Sub County, Moroto District.

A ceremony was held on 15th of May 2014 to mark the commencement of the project at Nawanatau village in which the Local District Administrators and other community leaders were present together with the local community themselves and at the function the leaders commended Excel Construction for its contribution towards the community.

The function also served to communicate to the local community that the Company is always seeking to employ skilled local resources to empower the community,something core to the Company's strategic vision for the nation.
